Strawberries
Personally, I am not a strawberry lover, there is just something about the flavor that I don’t love enough to want to eat a whole bowl full of them.
Interesting enough is that the strawberry is not actually a berry it is a fruit, and then what we think are the seeds on the outside of the berry is actually the ovaries of the fruit, and the seeds are inside.
It appears that there has not been all that much research done on the health benefits of strawberries so I would assume that the information I have been able to find would be more opinion based.
What we do know is that strawberries are rich in vitamin C.
The antioxidant properties in strawberries may also help to protect the immune system and could help fight cancer. They are said to fight bad cholesterol.
Potassium can help regulate blood pressure and may even help to lower high blood pressure.
All things considered, it supposed to be really good for my condition, but like most medicine, I comfort myself in knowing I don’t always have to like it I just have to eat it.
